Horsehair Vase

Description:
This is a wheel-thrown ceramics vase, standing about 8" tall. The piece was heated and had actual horsehair pressed against the piece creating the unique and beautiful designs. Horsehair vessels should not hold water, as it will absorb--the trick is to put a small container for water inside of the vase (plastic cup, etc.).
