"Trump"

Description:
Oil Paint, bee's wax, image transfer(from magizine pages), on plywood. 20" x 16" I really enjoy working with the shapes of buildings and this was from one of my photographs in Chicago. My process involves laying out a bed of bee's wax, laying an image from a magizine (usually small sections of different objects), then sanding paper and leaving the ink on top of the wax. I then remove the wax around the image and paint that surface with oil paints. Very time consuming, but well worth the work.
