Judith Motzkin’s “flame-painted” clay vessels are represented in the permanent collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Danforth Museum of Art, Crocker Art Museum and Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum and have been shown at the Fuller Museum of Craft. Her vessels were chosen for the covers of books—Lark Book’s 500 Bowls, and Rockport Publisher’s Best of Pottery—and the cover article in Ceramics Monthly (11/01).
